The model is the easy part.

Every few months a new AI model arrives that is better than the last. That's good news — but it's also why buying “an AI” is the wrong frame. The model is maybe a fifth of a system that actually runs part of a rental operation. The other four-fifths is everything around it.

The data.

The model only knows what it's shown. In most operations that means reconciling a property management system, a phone system, three shared inboxes and years of PDFs into one picture it can trust.

The standard.

Tests written with the people who know the work, so that “is this good?” has an answer before anything reaches a resident — and keeps having one when the model changes.

The rules.

Spending limits, emergency protocols, fair-housing guardrails and state notice law, enforced outside the model so no phrasing can get around them.

The memory, and the review.

A record of every correction your team makes, so the system improves on your operation specifically — and one clean place where people approve what matters.

If a better model ships next month, does your operation get better or worse? Built this way, it only gets better.

That's the test we'd apply to anything you're evaluating, including us.
